John Jackson, from Cassatt, SC, brings a passion for technology and entrepreneurship to his role as a Web Developer at Broadstreet.
His interest in technology started early: taking apart and tinkering with PlayStation consoles to see how they worked, building computers for gaming and work, setting up his own Linux server at home, taking Computer Repair at ATEC (now WTC), and working toward his associate degree in Computer Science at Central Carolina Technical College. That curiosity later grew into coding and digital marketing ventures of his own, giving John a background that connects how a website is built with how it brings in business.
Since joining Broadstreet, John has grown quickly in his role. He has learned new ways to secure client websites and protect them from threats, and to tune site performance so pages load quickly and run smoothly on any device. He has also helped move clients up in search rankings by applying SEO best practices to the sites he builds and maintains, so local businesses get found by the customers searching for them.
For John, a good website is one that is safe, fast, and easy to find on Google. He brings that focus to every project, and to the team’s creative approach.
