When Steve and Jerry Maslar decided to build a portal dedicated to their passion, trout fishing, they called on Broadstreet Consulting to design and build a Drupal site that would organize the vast amount of content they would generate.   They needed a system that would allow Jerry, a 70-year-old retiree, to update the system as well as reorganize content when needed.   

Broadstreet established an extensive site including several blogging portals, classrooms and a store.  Broadstreet then designed a logo and banner to unify the site's look and establish an easily identifiable insignia.  The store was originally built in Drupal Ubercart and is in the process of being updated to Drupal 6 and Drupal commerce.  TroutProStore ranks very well in search engine optimization and they receive tens of thousandsof visitors on a monthly basis.  The owners have begun selling their own products as well as The Perfect Fly flies, videos and other helpful products for fishing.

Establishing and managing social media accounts allowed TroutProStore to extend their reach considerably.  TroutProStore shares valuable, helpful content on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. TroutProStore has become a go-to site for trout fishermen because of the tremendous volume of content.
