The First Drupal Blog Post

I've been meaning to do this for a while now, and finally took the hour needed to: - Install Drupal 6.3 - Start the Broadstreet Blog The intention of this blog is to share my experiences in learning to develop content-rich web sites using the Drupal Open Source Content Management System. My only experience blogging so far is with my pizza blog, pizza.wordpress.com, which of course uses WordPress. It seems to me that WordPress is an excellent blogging tool and probably much easier to use and configure than Drupal. My experience with WordPress is limited to my Pizza Blog experiences, and I love the tool. However, I believe that Drupal brings a lot more functionality and capabilities to the table. I've built several Drupal sites and the possibilities seem endless. I'm looking forward to developing this site into something that really looks and feels like a blog, but more importantly I hope I have something work saying, and something worth reading. Tom S
