Turning off Teasers in my Drupal Blog

I've created this blog in Drupal 6.3, so some of my comments may not apply to older versions of Drupal. One of my goals with this blog is to build it out into a very useful blog that a WordPress or Blogger user would be happy to use it. Out of the box there are a lot of weaknesses. First on the positive side, I was able to install and configure the software in less than an hour and five minutes later I had my first blog posted-- not bad. On the down-side, I was pretty limited in what I could do. Some of the things I can't do but I want to do soon: - be able to add bullet lists without coding HTML - be able to add links without coding HTML - be able to upload an image and contain it within my post - Have an RSS feed for my Twitter Feed or other blogs - Schedule a post to be published on a later date - Lots of other stuff As I add functionality to the blog, I will document what I had to do and in particular what modules I had to add if any. One of the first things I wanted to do was have full posts on the front page. By default, Drupal only posts a "teaser" of some length-- maybe 800 characters? To remedy this I went to admin/content/node-settings and changed the length of trimmed posts to "unlimited." Unfortunately, this did not change the length of posts already published. To change those, I had to go back into each and edit them, then save them again.
